Warranty Scope for CCTV Installation

Warranty Duration

  • Labor Warranty: 6 to 12 months from the date of installation.
  • Equipment Warranty: Manufacturer’s warranty, typically 1 to 3 years.

What is Covered

  • Installation Defects:
    Issues related to the installation, such as loose mounting, improper cable management, or incorrect configuration.

  • System Configuration:
    Problems with remote access setup, networking issues related to the installation, or camera angle adjustments.

  • Support:
    Limited support for resolving installation-related issues, such as minor adjustments to camera positioning or reconfiguration.


What is Not Covered

  • User Damage:
    Any physical damage caused by the customer to cameras, DVR/NVR, or cables.

  • Environmental Damage:
    Damage due to weather, electrical surges, water damage, or other environmental factors.

  • Third-Party Interference:
    Issues arising from third-party modifications or changes to the network setup that were not part of the original installation.

  • Software Issues:
    Problems caused by updates to the CCTV system’s software or third-party apps not installed or configured by the technician.


Warranty Void Conditions

  • Unauthorized Modifications:
    If the customer or another technician makes modifications to the system, reroutes cables, or changes the network configuration, the warranty may be void.

  • Non-Payment:The warranty is only valid if the full payment for the installation has been made.


Claim Process

  1. Notification:
    The customer must notify Abelord Tech Services of any issues within the warranty period.

  2. Inspection:
    An inspection may be required to determine if the issue is covered under the warranty.

  3. Resolution:
    Covered issues will be resolved at no additional cost, typically within 7-14 days of notification.


Additional Services

If an issue is not covered under warranty, Abelord Tech Services will offer to fix it for a standard service fee. The customer will be informed of the costs before any work begins.


Documentation

This warranty is valid only with a written copy provided to the customer at the time of installation, which includes all terms and conditions.

Note on Pricing:
The prices listed above cover installation labor only. Parts and materials are not included and will be billed separately based on the equipment and specific requirements. These prices are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of the installation, the number of cameras, and customer needs. Additional fees may apply for special requests or services beyond the standard scope. Always consult with a technician for a more accurate quote tailored to your specific setup.

At Abelord Tech Services, I offer a 1-month guarantee on every repair. If you encounter any issues related to the repair within that time, I will fix it for free.
We accept payments with bank transfer, PayPal and Cash.

  1. Parts Not Included: The prices listed do not include the cost of parts needed for the repair. Charges are for labour only, unless otherwise stated.
  2. Data Backup: Prices do not include data backup from your previous drive. A system re-installation is usually required for the computer to be fully operational.
