Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Abelord Balagtas. Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using my computer repair services. By using my services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which comply with Ontario’s legal requirements.
1. Service Agreement
By submitting your computer for repair, you authorize me, Abelord Balagtas, to perform the necessary diagnostics and repairs. I will provide you with an estimate for the repair work, and no repairs will be performed without your approval.
2. Diagnostics and Repair
Diagnostics are carried out to identify the issue with your computer. If parts are required for the repair, I will notify you and provide options for ordering parts either through me or independently.
3. Parts and Manufacturer Warranty
Any replacement parts used in the repair are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, not by me. The manufacturer’s warranty terms will apply to the parts, and any claims for defective parts must be made directly with the manufacturer.
I do not assume responsibility for the functionality or longevity of parts that are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
4. Repair Warranty
All repair services provided by me are backed by a 30-day warranty. This warranty covers any issues directly related to the repair work I performed. If you experience problems related to the repair within this period, I will fix it at no additional cost.
The repair warranty does not cover issues caused by user error, physical damage after the repair, or problems related to parts covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
5. Data Loss
While I take every precaution to protect your data, I am not responsible for any data loss that may occur during the repair process. I strongly recommend that you back up your data before submitting your computer for repair.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the repair and before the return of your device. I accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards, PayPal, and digital wallets.
Invoices not paid within 7 days may incur additional fees.
7. Liability
I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the repair or use of your computer after service. My liability is limited to the cost of the repair services provided.
8. Pickup and Delivery
I offer pickup and delivery services for your convenience. You are responsible for ensuring the safe and timely return of your device once the repair is completed.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a repair service at any time before work begins without penalty. If parts have been ordered and you cancel the service, you may still be responsible for the cost of the parts.
Refunds for repair services are available only if the issue cannot be resolved after multiple attempts, as determined by me.
10. Privacy Policy
Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with Ontario’s privacy laws. I do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to complete the repair or as required by law.
11. Changes to Terms
I reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
